Julia is from Tyler, TX and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and is now a sophomore at Schreiner studying Psychology and Communication Studies. She has been riding for 8 years and has competed in local shows and Interscholastic Equestrian Association or IEA. She has made it to regionals several years in a row for IEA. For IHSA, she will be riding English-style and will be competing in the walk, trot, canter class. Her goals for IHSA are to become a more confident rider and eventually learning how to jump.
