KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Volleyball team lost their neutral site conference match against Austin College 3-1.
The Mountaineers remained in Shreveport, Louisiana, for their neutral site Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) matchup against the Kangaroos from Austin College, hosted by Centenary College.
Unfortunately, Schreiner would close out their weekend road trip with a 3-1 SCAC loss to the Kangaroos.
After opening the match with a 26-24 win in set one, the Mountaineers would go on to drop the following three sets 25-14, 25-14, 25-19, and the match 3-1.
Despite the loss, it was still a strong performance on both sides of the ball for graduate senior, Brooke Byer, as she finished with a match high 13 kills and a team high 20 digs.
Up next, the Mountaineers will return home to Kerrville, Texas, as they continue conference (SCAC) play with a matchup against the Tigers from Colorado College.
