KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Volleyball team won their road conference match against Centenary College 3-0.
The Mountaineers traveled to Shreveport, Louisiana, for their road Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) matchup against the Ladies from Centenary College.
Schreiner added another win to their streak after taking care of Centenary College in just three sets.
Schreiner opened the match with a 25-17 win in set one, followed by another 25-17 win in set two, and a 25-13 win in set three, taking the match 3-0.
Leading the offensive attack for the Mountaineers was freshman, Giana Hilliard, who finished with 11 kills (match high) on 25 total attacks (.360 K%). Also with a strong offensive performance from the middle was the duo of Mia Moreno (20 assists, match high) and Harlie Gallaspy (19 assists).
On the defensive end, it was graduate senior, Brooke Byer, who led the way with 19 digs (match high) to go with her 8 kills.
Up next, the Mountaineers will remain in Shreveport, Louisiana, as they continue their conference (SCAC) play with a neutral site match against the University of Dallas.
