KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Volleyball team won their road non-conference match against Dallas Christian College 3-0.
The Mountaineers traveled to Farmers Branch, Texas, for their non-conference matchup against the Crusaders from Dallas Christian College.
After a successful 3-0 weekend in San Antonio, the Mountaineers continued their stellar play with a three-set sweep over Dallas Christian College.
Schreiner opened the match with a 25-16 win in set one, followed by a 25-15 win in set two, and a 25-23 win in set three.
Leading the offensive attack for the Mountaineers was freshman, Jesse Garner, who tallied 13 kills (match high) on 18 total attacks (.611 K%). Also with a strong offensive performance was freshman, Harlie Gallaspy, who finished with 17 assists (match high).
On the defensive side of the ball, it was freshman, Mackenzie Strban, who led the effort and finished with 12 digs.
Up next, the Mountaineers will remain on the road as they head to Shreveport, Louisiana, for their conference (SCAC) matchup against Centenary College.
