KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Women's Soccer team won their home conference match against Centenary College 2-0.
The Mountaineers were at home for their Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) matchup against the Ladies from Centenary College.
Schreiner opened the weekend with a strong performance on both sides of the ball as they picked up an SCAC win over the Ladies and recorded their second clean sheet of the season.
The goals for the Mountaineers came from senior, Alexandra Schott, who scored in the 11th minute (assisted by Natalee Talley), and sophomore, Ashley Esparza, who scored in the 38th minute (unassisted).
The win for Schreiner marked their second of the season and first in conference (SCAC) play as their record now moves to 2-10-1.
Up next, the Mountaineers will remain at home as they continue conference (SCAC) play with a matchup against the Celts from the University of St. Thomas.
