KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Women's Soccer team forced a 1-1 draw in their road conference match against Texas Lutheran University.
The Mountaineers traveled to Seguin, Texas, for their road Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) matchup against the Bulldogs from Texas Lutheran University.
The first goal of the match came in the 37th minute of the first half as Texas Lutheran scored first to take a 1-0 lead heading into halftime. However, the Bulldogs lead wouldn't hold, as the Mountaineers tied the match up with a late equalizer in the 84th minute off of a deep shot from freshman, Abigail Scott (her first collegiate goal).
With neither side able to score any more goals as the clock expired, the match came to a conclusion with a final score of 1-1.
