After The first three seasons with the SU women’s program, coach Jewell has coached 22 All Americans, and 4 individual National Champions. The team finished as national runner ups in the NCWA in its first season (2018) and National Champions in 2019. Also, in 2019 the team won a Championship at the NCWA National Duals. 

This past year the team also had two 23U All-Americans at USA Wrestling‘s women’s nationals. 

On the men’s side, coach Jewell has coached two all Americans, and one NCWA National Champion. The Mountaineers finished 16th out of over 90 teams at their first appearance in the NCWA National Championships. The following year the team was much improved with a 7th place finish. At the National Duals the same year, the Mountaineers finished 5th. 

During very minimal opportunity over the Covid season, the team managed nine 23U USA Wrestling All-Americans at the 2021 Folkstyle Nationals in Cedar Falls Iowa.
