KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Women's Basketball team lost their road conference game against Colorado College 63-46.

The Mountaineers traveled to Colorado Springs, Colorado, for their road Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup against the Tigers from Colorado College.

Both sides played a relatively close first half as the Tigers took the first quarter 18-14 and the Mountaineers took the second quarter 20-17. However, a low scoring third quarter from Schreiner, in which they were held to just 5 points scored, proved to be the difference maker as Colorado College went on to win the game 63-46.

Leading the scoring effort for the Mountaineers was a committee of four different players who all finished with 8 points; Skye Thomas, Nariyah Buggs, Tianna Murray, and Tresalyn Roberts.

The loss for Schreiner Women's Basketball now moves their season record to 3-12 (2-4 SCAC).

Up next, the Mountaineers will return home to continue SCAC play with a matchup against the Ladies from Centenary College.
