KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Women's Basketball team lost their road non-conference game against Whitman College 90-44.
The Mountaineers traveled to Walla Walla, Washington, for their road non-conference matchup against the Blues from Whitman College.
Unfortunately, Schreiner would be outmatched as Whitman took the lead to start the game and held on to it through all four quarters.
Leading the scoring effort for Schreiner in the loss was junior guard, Nariyah Buggs, who finished with a team-high 11 points on 3-9 shooting from the field and 5-8 shooting from the free throw line.
The loss now moves Schreiner Women's Basketball's season record to 2-6 (1-1 SCAC).
