KERRVILLE, TEXAS: The Mountaineers hosted the Howard Payne Yellow Jackets on Tuesday evening for a non-conference game. HPU earned a 77-63 win against Schreiner. 

SCORING: Freshman, Miranda Vallejo earned 14 points for the Mountaineers, she was followed by sophomore Sydney Williams who added 11 points. The Mountaineers outscored the Yellow Jackets from the foul line 7-11 compared to HPU's 12-21. Schreiner is now 0-7 on the season.
