KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Men's Soccer team lost their home conference match against Trinity University 3-1.
The Mountaineers were at home for their Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) matchup against the Tigers from Trinity University.
Schreiner opened up the match with a goal scored in the 12th minute by freshman, Bhodey Miller, off of an assist from Zaaron Gonzalez. However, the 1-0 lead for the Mountaineers was short lived as the Tigers responded in force, scoring two unanswered goals in the first half and one more in the second half, bringing the match to a conclusion with a final score of 3-1 in favor of Trinity University.
