KERRVILLE, TX: The Mountaineer Baseball team swept their double-header against Howard Payne on Tuesday afternoon 14-3 and 17-2.

In Game 1 it was a balanced offensive attack with both Jeffrey Williams and Devin Hooper going 3-3 and Ryan Ragle also having a multi-hit game with 2. Rylan Marchlewicz went 2 hitless innings to earn the win on the mound.

In Game 2 Josh Gilliam led the way going 4-4 at the plate with 3 RBI. Reece Hohhertz went 2-2 with a walk and 3 RBI, Williams and Hooper again had a multi-hit game going 2-3, and Dominick Garcia went 2-3 in the game.

Upcoming: Baseball will travel to Houston, TX on Saturday, February 22nd to play in the St. Thomas Tournament opening with a single game against Minnesota-Morris starting at 2:30 PM before taking on St. Thomas in a non-conference game at 5:30 PM.
