Matthew Comuzzie is entering his first year as Assistant Athletic Director for Schreiner University Athletics. Matthew returns to Schreiner after spending the previous two years as the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Communications at St. Mary's University in San Antonio where he gained valuable experience working at the Division II level.
Prior to being at St. Mary's, Matthew served as the first full-time Sports Information Coordinator from 2019-2024 for Schreiner University where he took Mountaineer Game Days to the next level. In 2023, Matthew was awarded the President's Award for Excellence, which is a prestigious award given to a Schreiner faculty or staff member each year.
A proud San Antonio native and the BIGGEST San Antonio Spurs fan, Matthew is excited about his return and hopes to once again enhance the gameday experience for all of our student-athletes and fans.
Matthew received his B.A in Marketing from Texas A&M Corpus Christi in 2019 and his MBA from Schreiner in 2020.
