Feb. 29, 2024-KERRVILLE, TX: Brie Sosa of Schreiner Women's Basketball, a sophomore guard from New Braunfels, Texas, has been named to the 2023-2024 SCAC Women's Basketball All-Tournament team.

Sosa led the Mountaineers to the semifinals round of the 2024 SCAC Women's Basketball Championship with high scoring performances in both games played by Schreiner Women's Basketball in Shreveport, Louisiana.

In the Mountaineers' quarterfinals win over Austin College, Sosa finished with a team-high 16 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Then, in Schreiner's semifinals loss to Trinity University, Sosa finished with a team-high 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists, leading her to be selected to the 2023-2024 Women's Basketball All-Tournament team.
