KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Women's Soccer team lost their road non-conference match against LeTourneau University 3-0.
The Mountaineers traveled to Longview, Texas, for their road non-conference matchup against the Yellow Jackets from LeTourneau University.
Schreiner went down early in the match as LeTourneau put the first point of the day on the scoreboard with a goal scored in the 3rd minute of play. The Yellow Jackets then added to their first half lead with another goal scored in the 25th minute, taking a 2-0 lead over Schreiner into halftime.
As the second half got underway, the Mountaineers were unable to respond to the Yellow Jackets' offensive production. LeTourneau scored one more goal in the 51st minute, ultimately winning the match 3-0.
