KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Men's Soccer team lost their road non-conference match against Belhaven University 4-0.
The Mountaineers were on the road to open up their regular season as they traveled to Jackson, Mississippi, for a non-conference match against the Blazers from Belhaven University.
In the first half of competition, the Mountaineers matched the Blazers offensive and defensive production, as both sides went into halftime scoreless but with seven shots each.
However, as the second half got underway, the Blazers from Belhaven took control out on the field, scoring four unanswered goals and ultimately winning the match 4-0.
