KERRVILLE, TX: Zhao Yung Gu of Schreiner University Men's Golf, a senior from Weihai, China, has been selected the SCAC Men's Co-Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played through Tuesday, March 7.

Yung Gu fired a pair of 69s to finish with a two round score of 138 (-6) to earn medalist honors at the Schreiner Spring Shootout contested Monday and Tuesday at the 7,059 yard, par 72 Comanche Trace Hills and Valley Course. He was four shots clear of his nearest competitor and one of just two golfers to finish the tournament under par. His efforts catapulted the Mountaineers to a tie for second in the team rankings.
