KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Men's Golf team finished in 2nd place at the Schreiner Shoot-Out, hosted by Schreiner University.
The Mountaineers remained at home as they competed in the Schreiner Shoot-Out at Comanche Trace Golf Course.
After two rounds of play, Schreiner finished tied for 2nd place with a total team score of 587 (295, 292).
At the individual level, senior, Zhao Yung Gu, took home 1st place with a total score of 138 (69, 69). Also with a top 20 individual finish was John Martinez who finished tied for 12th with a total score of 148 (75, 73), and Matthew McKenzie who finished tied for 17th place with a total score of 149 (75, 74).
