KERRVILLE, TX: Schreiner's Shotgun Team took a weekend trip to Dallas Gun Club to compete in the Clay Shooters Supply & RC USA Ammo Collegiate Shoot.
The Mountaineers had a successful weekend in all three events, as well as High Overall, which combines the scores from each event. The shooters were able to claim awards both individually and as a team with the following results:
Will Perry won first place in men's sporting clays, with Brandon Martin right behind him to claim first runner-up.
Brinley Gott took home first runner-up in lady's, and Schreiner won first place in the team category by 65 targets.
Four Mountaineers shot off for spots on the podium in American skeet, with Will Perry and Lexi Shaw tying for first place in both the men's and lady's categories and Jacob Cameron & Wes Roddie tying for second runner-up in men's. Ultimately Schreiner took home first in team skeet as well.
Will Perry claimed second runner-up in men's trap, and Schreiner won first place in the team trap category.
The High Overall champion for the weekend was Will Perry, with Brandon Martin winning first runner-up and Brinley Gott taking home second runner-up in lady's.
Ultimately, Schreiner's Shotgun team walked away with the first-place team title!
