COLORADO SPRINGS, CO: 

USA Shooting's Junior Men's Trap team took home the first medal for Team USA at the 2022 Shotgun World Championship in Osijek, Croatia, Sept. 24.

Matthew Kutz, from Texas; Emilio Carvalho, from California; and Lance Thompson, of Pennsylvania, defeated Spain to earn the third-place title and take home some bronze medals.

"We had to push through as a team, but we made it happen in the end," said Thompson.
