KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Men's Soccer team lost their match against East Texas Baptist University this afternoon 2-1.
It was a tough match for the Mountaineers today out in Marshall, Texas, as they put the first goal on the board, but unfortunately went on to give up two unanswered goals to ETBU as the match progressed.
The goal for Schreiner came from junior Forward, Zaaron Gonzalez, in just the 11th minute of the match. That goal by Gonzalez now moves him to second on the season's goals scored list with 2.
Up next, the Mountaineers will return home to open up conference play with a match against Southwestern University on September 30th, at 4:00 PM.
