KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Men's Basketball team lent a hand at the August 20th Drive-Thru Pop-Up Market organized by the San Antonio Food Bank and the First Presbyterian Church of Kerrville.
The food distribution effort was held at the First Presbyterian Church. Mountaineer student-athletes and coaches joined other volunteers to help the food distribution effort to 150 families represented by those who came to the event.
"We appreciate the opportunity to contribute to the great work done by the folks who organized this event to help Kerrville working families," said Men's Basketball Head Coach, Marwan Elrakabawy. "Thank you to Pastor Jack Haberer for having us and to Shannon Tuschak for connecting us with the opportunity to assist Kerrville families."
