KERRVILLE, TX: Schreiner University Baseball's Gerardo Cardoza has been named SCAC Hitter of the Week.

"GERARDO CARDOZA OF SCHREINER UNIVERSITY, a junior catcher from Misson, Texas, has been named the SCAC Baseball Hitter of the Week for games played from Saturday, February 5 through Sunday, February 13.

Cardoza finished the weekend with seven hits in 14 at bats (.500 batting average), including two triples and five runs driven in, to propel the Mountaineers to two wins in their opening three-game series against Stevenson University."
