KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Women's Soccer team lost their game against Lewis & Clark College 58-61.
The Mountaineers closed out their west coast roadtrip with a game against Lewis & Clark College on Saturday. Schreiner played a close game throughout, but unfortunately fell just short in the closing minutes of the game. Senior Gabby Ivarra knocked down a clutch three point shot with 10 seconds left to cut the lead down to just one point, but lewis & Clark responded by making their free throws, ultimately securing their 58-61 win.
Leading the way for the Mountaineers was Demauria Miles (11 points), Gabby Ivarra (10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists), and Nariyah Buggs (10 points).
Up next, the Mountaineers will return home for a game against Huston-Tillotson University.
