KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Women's Golf team traveled to Thackerville, Oklahoma, earlier this week to compete in the Crusader Invitational hosted by the University of Dallas.
The tournament was held at the Winstar World Resort Golf Course in Thackerville, OK. The Mountaineers played well in this one as they finished in 6th place out of the 9 teams that competed. Leading the way for Schreiner was Sara Salido and Shelby Vetere who both finished tied for 24th place with final scores of 187 (92, 95), (91, 96). As a team, the Mountaineers played well as they finished in 6th place with a total score of 777.
