KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Equestrian team opened their season this weekend at the Tarleton State University Western Show in Stephenville, TX.
It was a strong showing for the Mountaineers in their first event of the 2021-2022 season. The meet took place on October 2nd & 3rd and featured a great performance from senior Ashley Lane who finished 1st in Rookie A Horsemanship on the the first day of competition. Up next, the Schreiner University Equestrian team will travel to Bulverde, TX, to compete in the Trinity University Hunt Seat Show on October 30-31.
