KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Men's and Women's Cross Country teams traveled to San Antonio this weekend to compete in the UIW Invitational, hosted by the University of the Incarnate Word.
The Men's team finished in 11th place and were lead by Marco Hernandez who finished with a five mile time of 30:30. Also with a strong showing for the Men's team was Tristan Salinas who finished with a time of 30:53.
The Women's team also finished in 11th place and were once again lead by Sarah Endres who fished with a three mile time of 20:11.
The Mountaineers sowed a lot of continued improvement in this race and will now look to hit their mid-season form with just four weeks left before the SCAC conference meet.
