KERRVILLE, TX: Over this past Monday and Tuesday, the Schreiner University Women's Golf team competed at the SCAC Championship at Vaaler Creek Golf Club hosted by Trinity University. As a team, the Mountaineers finished in 4th place with a total score of 795. Individually, the highest finisher for Schreiner was senior Katelyn Smith who came in tied for 5th place with a total score of 166.
To go with her solid performance in the tournament, Katelyn Smith was also the recipient of the SCAC Women's Golf Elite 19 Award and Women's ALL-SCAC First Team honors for her exceptional play throughout the season.
