KERRVILLE, TX: Over the weekend, the Schreiner University Women's Track & Field team competed in the Warhawk Classic hosted by McMurry University. In what was a great showing for Schreiner, the Mountaineers finished with several notable highlights.
- Junior Sarah Endres finished the 1500 Meter Run with a new personal record/school record time of 5:24.67.
- Freshman Mikayla Farber placed 5th in Long Jump and recorded a new personal record (by over a foot)/school record of 5.20m 1.7, moving her to now being tied for 2nd in the SCAC.
- Freshman Shamyra Oakes ran in her first race back from a leg injury and had a good race in spite of running in a heat all by herself
Additionally, the Mountaineers also recorded 3 other personal records, 4 other season bests, and 3 other school records.
