Schreiner University

Matthew Comuzzie joined the Schreiner University Athletics department in 2021 as the department’s first Sports Information & Communications Coordinator.

Matthew is a graduate of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration (BBA) and is a graduate of Schreiner University where he obtained a master’s degree in business administration (MBA).

In 2023, Matthew Comuzzie was named the recipient of the Schreiner University President’s Award for Excellence, given to a Schreiner University Faculty or Staff member who displays a commitment to continuous improvement of the university, the students, fellow employees, and outside constituents. The recipient must also have impacted students, staff, and faculty members in a significant way and must be a role model in their organization.
