SUWANEE, GA: Schreiner University sophomore center Kamden Ross was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for the week of February 19th, it was announced by D3hoops.com.

Ross was outstanding last weekend with the Mountaineers season on the line and a bid into the SCAC Tournament up for grabs. Over two contests he poured in 35 points and grabbed 34 rebounds, posting a double-double in each game, highlighted by his 23 points, 22 rebound effort in the Mountaineers win over Texas Lutheran on Saturday. In a must win for Schreiner to extend its season, Ross' 20/20 performance was the first of its kind in an SCAC contest since 2006. In addition, Ross added one assist and three steals on the weekend.

Ross currently leads the SCAC connecting on 62.0 percent of his shots from the field and his 10.1 rebounds per game is second best in the league heading into the conference tournament this weekend.

Ross is the first SCAC men's student athlete to earn D3hoops.com National TOTW recognition since Centenary's Seth Thomas was recognized in week one of the 2021 season. He is the first Schreiner athlete to be named to the team since Keenan Gumbs earned the distinction in week four of the 2017-18 season.

The D3hoops.com Team of the Week recognizes five players -- two backcourt and three frontcourt players -- each week. To see the full D3hoops.com Team of the Week, click here.
