KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Women's Basketball team won their home conference game against the University of Dallas 61-46.
The Mountaineers were at home for their SCAC matchup against the Crusaders from the University of Dallas.
Schreiner started out slow as they were outscored by the Crusaders 15-8 in the 1st quarter. However, the Mountaineers found their rhythm in the 2nd quarter as their shots started to fall and the defense ramped up significantly, only allowing 4 points to be scored by the Crusaders in the quarter. As the second half got underway, Schreiner firmly took control of the game and didn't give it up for the remainder of the contest.
