KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Volleyball team opened up conference play this afternoon with a 3-1 win over the University of Dallas.
It was another strong offensive performance by the Schreiner seniors Kayla Lofland (17 kills), Brooke Byer (18 kills), and Jackie Sotello (13 kills) as the trio all finished with double digit kills. Also with the usual standout performance was Mia Merono who lead the team with 51 assists, and Elora Reyes who lead the team with 20 digs.
Up next, the Mountaineers will remain in Shreveport, Louisiana, as they continue SCAC play with a match against Austin College.
