KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Men's Soccer team lost their match against Concordia University this afternoon 1-2.
It was a hard fought match by the Mountaineers this afternoon at home, but unfortunately, the two goal deficit in favor of the Tornados from Concordia would prove to be too much to overcome. A late goal scored at the end of the first half put Concordia on the board first. The Tornados would then follow that goal with one more halfway through the second half. However, the Mountaineers weren't done fighting yet. With just over one minute left on the game clock, junior Midfielder, Iseah Hernandez, put a Penalty Kick in to the back of the net for his first goal of the season.
