KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Volleyball team lost their match against Simpson College 2-3.
It was a tough re-match for the Mountaineers as they took on Simpson College for the second time in two days. Unfortunately, this time Schreiner didn't come away with the victory. After taking the first two sets, the Mountaineers then went on to lose three straight, losing the match 2-3
Set 1 - 25-21
Set 2 - 25-22
Set 3 - 21-25
Set 4 - 21-25
Set 5 - 16-18
On a positive note, junior, Mia Moreno, hit a major milestone in her collegiate career, recording her 1,000th assist.
