KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Volleyball team lost their match against Hendrix College this morning 0-3.
The Mountaineers played a strong match today out in Belton, Texas, but unfortunately, they were out matched by the Warriors from Hendrix College. After dropping the first set 11-25, the Mountaineers had a strong bounce back in Set 2, getting up to set point, but couldn't close out out the set as they then gave up three consecutive points to the Warriors and lost the set 25-27. Schreiner then went on to lose Set 3, 13-25.
Leading the way for the Mountaineers was Brooke Byer who finished with 7 kills on 44 total attacks. Also with a strong standout performance was Mia Moreno who finished with 21 assists and 10 digs.
