SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA: The Mountaineers opened up conference play against Centenary, and fell to the Ladies 2-3 after overtime.  

TURNING POINT: Centenary goal at 82:58 tied the game, making the teams go into overtime. At 94:58 Kyra Montes of Centenary scored on a penatly kick to win the game and bring the final score 3-2. 

OTHER KEY MOMENTS: Senior Lindsey Fitz scored the first goal of the game at 46:52 assisted by Marissa Wheeler. Freshman, Marissa Wheeler scored her first collegiate goal eight minutes later.
