Mountaineer Wrestling traveled to Lindsborg, Kansas for the Swede Open where they took home many personal bests and represented Schreiner well. 

The mountaineers managed to do some major damage on the backside of the brackets. On The front side, Brett Barefoot reached the semi finals before losing a close match. Brett fired seven or eight shots off in the match, his opponent never pulled the trigger once.
Schreiner heavyweights were also much improved after making Some adjustments in practice. Josh Tatman , After throwing an opponent to his back for the pin in the second round, had a great overtime match with a very solid heavyweight from UNT. Jacob Cuellar had some close matches with some of the best in the bracket. Robert Hernandez had an end of the match take down and turn with a Merkle, to seal a come from behind win! Tiryek West went 3-2 and came close in the 197 bracket. He had a good match with the number one ranked Jucco 197 in the country. Allen Roppolo made his mark also going 3-2 on the day at 125.
