AUSTIN, TX: The Mountaineer Softball team split with Concordia University dropping the first game of the double-header before winning the second game 6-3 in 8 innings. Junior Amanda Timmerman picked up the win in game two after pitching 2.1 innings, facing 8 batters, giving up one hit and striking out two. Schreiner scored their six runs in the final four innings from Melanie Castilla (1-4, 2 RBI), Bri Wodtke (2-3, 2 RBI), and Kennedy Moody (2-4, 1 RBI) and Marisa Hernandez (2-4).
