ATLANTA, GA: The Mountaineer Women's Wrestling team competed in the WCWA Individual National Tournament over the weekend where Allie Mahoe, Serena Cervantes, Kamille Beagle, and Jazelyn Ruelas all earned All-American status. Going into the tournament all four wrestlers were unseeded and finished in either 6th or 8th place.
Mahoe (123) finished in 6th after beating the 7 and 4 seed in her weight class. Cervantes (130) beat the number 8 and 5 seed to finish in 6th place. Beagle (123) finished in 8th place after beating the 8 seed and the returning thrid-place All-American in the 123 weight class. Ruelas (116) finished in 8th place. Other noteable performances on the weekend were Megan Thomas and Miriam Delagarza.
