KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Volleyball team lost their home conference match against Trinity University 3-0.
The Mountaineers were at home to close out their regular season with a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) matchup against the Tigers from Trinity University.
Unfortunately, the day would not go in favor of Schreiner as the Trinity Tigers won the match in just three sets.
Leading the way on offense for the Mountaineers was graduate senior, Brooke Byer who finished with a team high 9 kills, and freshman, Harlie Gallaspy who finished with a team high 14 assists.
Up next, the Mountaineers will head to Georgetown, Texas, for the opening round of the 2023 SCAC Volleyball Championship, hosted by Southwestern University.
