LAWRENCEVILLE, GA: The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced the All-SCAC Volleyball awards on Tuesday, November 5th. Freshman Kayla Lofland was named to the All-SCAC Volleyball Second Team.
Lofland was one of three freshman to earn an All-Conference honor for the 2019 season. The freshman finished the year leading the conference in kills (404) and kills per set (3.54), second on the team in digs with 356 and third with 3.12 digs per set.
In her 32 matches this season, Lofland recorded double-digit kills in 23 matches, double-digit digs in 20 matches, and 15 matches where she recorded both double-digit kills and digs. On October 12, 2019 Lofland had a career high digs (21) against Howard Payne University and a career high kills (30) on October 27, 2019 against St. Thomas (Tex.).
