SHERMAN, TX: The Mountaineer Volleyball team opened their final day of conference play with a five set win (20-25, 17-25, 25-20, 25-19, 15-13) over St. Thomas (Tex.) behind career highs from Kayla Lofland with 30 kills and Madeline Vela with 29 digs before falling to Texas Lutheran 3-1 on Sunday afternoon. In her final conference game, senior Austyn Schiller had 11 kills behind 12 kills from junior Amanda Combs in a 3-1 loss to Texas Lutheran.
