ABILENE, TX: The Women's Track & Field Team opened their season at the Hardin-Simmons Early Season Invitational in Abilene, Texas on Saturday. This was the team's first time competing as an official Division III team.

Kendall Lee placed 11th in the 100 with a time of 13.29, she also placed 8th in the 200 with a time of 28.00
Ahtziri Hernandez placed 8th in the 400 with a time of 24:45.64
