LAWRENCEVILLE, GA: Katelyn Smith, a senior from Missouri City, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Golfer-of-the-Week for competition from October 2 through October 8.
Smith led the Mountaineers to a fourth place team finish at the LeTourneau Tempest Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday. Smith finished in fourth place individually in the 24-player field to pace the Mountaineers. She fired rounds of 81 and 86 for a two-day total of 167 (+23).
