DENVER, CO: The Women's Basketball team traveled to Denver, Colorado for a conference game against Johnson & Wales (CO) on Saturday afternoon. The Mountaineers earned their first win of the season 82-60 against the Wildcats.

SCORING: Freshman, Miranda Vallejo was the leading scorer of the game with a career-high 17 points. Bailey Natusch contributed 12 points for the Mountaineers, and teammates Yasmine Arogunjo and Gabby Ivarra both added 10 points each, while Ivarra also had nine rebounds. Schreiner hit 47% from three-point range and shot 52% from the field. The Mountaineers are now 1-10 this season and are 1-1 in the SCAC.
