KERRVILLE, TX - Alexis Lynn has been named the new Head Softball Coach for Schreiner Unviersity by Director of Athletics, Bill Raleigh. Lynn comes from Marian University where she was the Assistant Coach for three years.

SHREVEPORT, LA: The Mountaineers fell to the Dallas Crusaders 2-7 in the first elimination game of the 2019 SCAC Softball Championship. This was Schreiner's third game of the tournament.

GEORGETOWN, TX: The Mountaineers continued with day two of their conference series against Southwestern University on Saturday Afternoon. Schreiner fell to the Pirates 5-7 and then 5-6.

KERRVILLE, TX: The Mountaineers hosted the Southwestern Assemblies of God University for a non-conference double-header on Friday evening. Schreiner fell to the Lions in extra innings 1-3 in the first game, before coming back and defeating SAGU 3-1 in the second game.

LONGVIEW, TX: The Mountaineers traveled to Longview, Texas for a non-conference double-header against LeTourneau on Saturday afternoon. Schreiner went 0-2 after falling to the Yellowjackets 9-10, and then 1-6.
PINEVILLE, LA: The Schreiner Softball team traveled to Pineville, Louisiana for a non-conference double header against the Louisiana College Wildcats. The Mountaineers fell 2-8 in game one and then 9-17 in game two.
ABILENE, TX: The Schreiner University Softball team went 2-2 at the Abilene Round Robin Tournament after falling to McMurry 3-4 and to Hardin-Simmons 2-4 on Saturday.
ABILENE, TX: The Mountaineers opened their season with two wins on day one the Abilene Round Robin Tournament. Schreiner defeated Hardin-Simmons in five innings 11-1 before ending the day with a 9-1 win against Millsaps. The team will face McMurry at 11:00 AM and Hardin-Simmons at 2:00 PM on Saturday.
