KERRVILLE, TX: As announced by the Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference, freshman Tiger Garcia was named the MAC Shooter of the Month for November. 

Before Schreiner Tiger had only shot with his father occasionally took him to the local shooting range.  As a walk on, with no real experience, Tiger works hard at the sport. In the beginning he averaged in  the low 200's but, through hard work, he has raised his average over 300 points in just one semester. 

Tiger feels his improvement is based focusing his practice sessions on key skills: maintaining good position, tight shot grouping, and being consistent in all aspects of training. His Coach Lance Little observes that his is an amazing accomplishment for someone without any competitive shooting experience.

A freshman Finance major, Tiger is from La Porte, Texas and graduated from La Porte High School. When not at the range training he likes to play baseball and computer gamer and enjoys building and remodeling computers.
