LAWRENCEVILLE, GA: Jake Sitterle, a freshman from Dripping Springs, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Golfer-of-the-Week for competition from October 9 through October 15. 

Sitterle earned medalist honors after rounds of 69 and 70 for a 3-under-par 139 at the Trinity Alamo City Classic, which was played Monday and Tuesday at the Quarry Golf Club. He and Robert Quintana of Hardin-Simmons, who duplicated Sitterle's two-day total of 139, were the only golfers in the field to finish under par. Sitterle finished as medalist after defeating Quintana on the second playoff hole. On the first playoff hole, both players made par and on the second hole of the playoff (hole No. 11) Sitterle made a birdie and Quintana's birdie lipped out.
