SEGUIN, TX: The Men's Basketball team was the #4 seed in the 2018-19 SCAC Men's Basketball Conference Tournament. The Mountaineers were upset 64-68 by the #5 seed University of Dallas in their quarterfinal game on Friday evening.
SCORING: Freshman, Alex Dehoyos contributed 13 points for the Mountaineers. Sophomore, Matthew Rindahl was one of two student-athletes in the game to earn a double-double after adding 12 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore, Chase Pinter also contributed 12 points for the Mountaineers. Schreiner went 40% from the field and shot 26% from three-point range. The Mountaineers ended their season 14-12.
